Biography

A recent graduate from UCA’s BA (Hons) in Design for Theatre and Screen, I specialise in the design and creation of puppets, masks and props. Much of my work takes inspiration from folklore and mythology, but always with a fun, new twist. I have experience with a broad range of materials and techniques, from working with foam, thermoplastics, fabric and wood, to using CAD programs, 3D printing and laser cutting. Previous work has included a puppet inspired by the graphic novel Black Dog: The Dreams of Paul Nash by Dave McKean, and a large serpent puppet inspired by The Magic Flute.
