The central design concept is that of an unfolding storybook. The design motif is a metaphorical amalgamation of piano, guitar, Irish harp, set around a double turntable, flying set pieces, and the Dublin cityscape. I conceive of environments in response to the text and music that connects to the audience. I seek the essence and quality of objects; it is always purposeful and thoughtful. I avoid mere functionality and look to create a spark for the audience’s imagination.
