Biography

Professional

Justin Arienti is an Anglo-Italian theatre designer born and educated near Milan, Based in London since 2001.

Justin achieved the Diploma in Design for the Art and the Industry at the Istituto D’Arte alla Villa Reale di Monza, subsequently he achieved the university degree in Theatre Design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan.

At the Atelier Carlo Colla e Figli while still studying Justin has the priceless opportunity to work on their extraordinary shows in theatres and festivals around the world effectively starting his career in theatre.

In London Justin starts working as associate designer and assistant for several established designers, in particular with Richard Hudson in countless theatre, opera and ballet productions in the most prestigious theatres.

As designer Justin’s work spans from opera to ballet, tv to exhibitions. 

He recently designed the set for Andrea Chenier for the Teatro Comunale di Modena and Opera Toulon with the direction of Nicola Berloffa and La Muette de Portici for Opera Kiel with the direction of Valentina Carrasco.

Justin forthcoming projects are designing the costume for the ballet Romeo and Juliette with the choreography of Francois Mauduit, and set and costumes for Lucia di Lammermoor with the direction of Nicola Berloffa at the Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires.
