Biography

I'm a scenic artist with over twenty five years experience painting scenery for the stage. I studied Fine Art at Reading university and then took a post grad diploma at the Welsh College of Music and Drama, (Now Royal Welsh...) I started work as a scenic with a full time job at the Belgrade Theatre Coventry. After four years I moved to london and worked freelance for some time. I was lucky to get work at Kimpton Walkers ltd, English National Ballet and a number of other scenic workshops.

Since 2005 I've worked from my own studio space, first in Kent and now in Carshalton, South London where I have a studio with a paint frame. I run courses in scenic painting and scenic art from the studio. This gives students the opportunity to explore making a living as a scenic artist, training in a professional workspace.
