Biography
ProfessionalI am an emerging Theatre Designer having just finished MA Theatre Design from UAL Wimbledon College of Arts with a Distinction in September 2019. I was shortlisted for the Linbury Prize midway through my MA with 2 speculative projects in my portfolio. I was 2/3rds of the way through a trilogy of designs when Covid-19 struck. These were classic text adaptations with a youth theatre company. I find this sort of work very rewarding and I would like to develop my career using my learnt theatrical skills with a pedagogic vocation of social practice and public participation.
I have spent the last 20 years working in costume mainly as a Costume Supervisor and Wardrobe Master. I have worked on a wide variety of productions including in 2012 when I was the Wardrobe Supervisor for the Opening and Closing of the Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies in London.

This was a youth adaptation of the themes from Wilde’s text. As an ever-evolving production, my design took the framework of presenting a ‘troupe of players’ living among theatrical relics who created their eerie contemporary cabaret among the shadows of the past.
