Biography

Annabelle Liu is a Set Designer and Art Department Assistant with a strong focus on scenography and production design. She recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Drama & Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths in London, where she played a key role in the creation of The Sky Has Gone Mad, a participatory theatre piece that delves into the unconscious mind and the emotions awakened by dreams, as part of The Existing Collective. Annabelle draws inspiration from various sources, including art movements, fellow Set Designers, graphic design, and even her own dreams. She approaches each project with a unique blend of creativity, starting with the narrative and translating it into a vibrant, immersive visual landscape that is adaptable and engaging for performers and audiences. This flexibility allows for playfulness and fluidity in the final design.
