Kate Lane

I am a scenographer, academic and co-artistic director of performance collective Ceschi + Lane.  I am interested in design-led processes and my practice explores scenography as a visual dramaturgy with a particular focus on costume and multi-platformed performances. 

I am a Reader in Scenography and Head of Department: Producing at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Through my experience as an academic and scenographer, who makes my own work, I hope my role on the committee will help support emerging designers navigate and contribute to the future of our field.
