Adrian Rees
Adrian Rees studied theatre design at the Wimbledon School of Art. He has designed in many regional reps, including Leicester Haymarket Theatre, York Theatre Royal, Plymouth Theatre Royal and the West Yorkshire Playhouse. He was Head of Design at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry for seven years, designing musicals, pantomimes, new work, classics and everything in between. He has also designed on many occasions for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with one production winning a Fringe First.
His work has been seen often in the West End and extensively on tour.
In the last twenty years, he has designed thirty-nine productions at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in Scotland for their Summer seasons and Winter productions.
Recently, Adrian has been a part of the editorial team that produced the fabulous hello stranger catalogue.
He is a published author of children’s stories and has just completed his first full length novel for young adults.
