Assistance Experience
At university, I specialised in scale model making techniques and drawings, putting an emphasis on attention to fine detail and honing my skills making model boxes. I have developed my skills working with several designers as an assistant, including Francis O’Conner on some of his designs including Party Games for the Yvonne Arnaud theatre, and Billy Elliot.
In addition to this, I have three years of experience at placements working across all aspects of theatre production from wardrobe to scenic, acting as a costume assistant, dresser, or props sourcer, which has given me valuable insight into the behind the scenes design process, with a special focus on collaborative accessible design.
