Biography

Sunny Jeon is freelance Visual Theatre Artist, working in East and West, after graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama and Central Saint Martin's. She is primarily interested in imaginary landscape performances/installations in unconventional spaces, collaborative devising with artists of other concentrations, and utilising active audience involvement. Her skills include set and costume design and set construction (with working in Stage One Theatre Company in Seoul, Korea), technical drawing, model making, props making, lighting design and board computer skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Express, Dreamweaver, CAD, Microsoft Word and other similar programmes), and set dressing. She has worked with regional companies in and out of London and Seoul including Stage One Theatre Company, Hanyang Repertory, Seoul Arts Centre, Company of Angels, king and Queen productions, Design for Opera, Royal Opera House, London Film School, Anna Scher Theatre, Cochrane Theatre, Zoo Art Fair 2008, Prague Quadrennial 2007, Young Director's Programme, MA Acting for Screen at Central School of Speech and Drama, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Royal Academy of Arts, The New Players Theatre in various roles such as set and costume designer, assistant in a model room, assistant artist director, art handler and props maker. She has worked in venues such as Seoul Arts Centre, Sejong Art Centre, The National Theatre of Korea, Dongsung Art Centre, The National Centre for Korean Traditional Performing Arts, Doosan Art Centre; Yonkang Hall, Uijeongbu Arts Centre, MBC, KBS, LotteWorld and etc in korea, and Royal Opera House, Peckham Varieties Theatre, Anna Scher Theatre, Cochrane Theatre, The New Players Theatre, The Adelaid public House, Etcetera Theatre, in London.
