George was trained as an Architect and Interior Designer at the UCL Bartlet School of Architecture. He is a member of the RIBA and the Society of British Theatre Designers.
For most of his professional life he designs for the theatre, film and TV. He works around the world with companies such as the Alberta Ballet Company Canada, Ballet Austin USA, Vergina Theatre Thessaloniki, The State Theatre Cyprus, EBU (European Broadcasting Union), UNICEF, Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation Sigma TV and Al Jazeera International News Station
For many projects, he collaborated with ITN executive producer Munro Forbes.
Recent designs include “Midsummer Night’s Dream” “Factory Girls” “Cherry Orchard” “Mama don’t run” “Five finger exercise” “A marriage proposal” “The bear”
He has worked extensively on TV designing for live shows including the stage design for the “Junior Eurovision 2008” for which he was nominated for the International Live Design Excellence Award
He has a specific interest in creating interactive installations and sculptures.
