Biography
As a global citizen (born in The Netherlands, lived in Borneo and the Middle East and traveled widely) I am fascinated by the way different people see things in different contexts. With my experience of different cultures and environments, I appreciate how themes, style, imagination, and creativity can be introduced to bring different interpretations of a story. I relish the challenge of designing the interaction between performers, costumes, sets, stage and lighting to tell and provide depth to the narrative whilst complimenting the total. I am passionate about getting these non-verbal elements to work together which is especially important for the dynamics of productions.
