Biography
I am a costume designer with a varied experience in design and creating. I graduated from London College of Fashion with a BA in Costume for Performance in 2010 and since then I have been working as a costume designer in small fringe venues.
I really want a career in costume, whether authentically period, unorthodox, thought-provoking, contemporary or fantastical, working with professionals who have an inventive style to theatre and opera.
My most recent theatre piece, a Joe Orton double bill at The Greenwich Playhouse direted by Maria Chiorando, has been nominated for an Offie Award for Best Costume Designer in 2012.
My experience includes designing for fringe venues, tailoring, millinery, alterations and buying. I am fascinated by contemporary artforms such as installation art and I am a frequent visitor to new exhibitions from which I take inspiration to use in my design work and enable me to diversify.
