Biography

Mel is a London based set and costume designer interested in community focused work and that which is engaging, historical and political. She also works as a fine artist which has influence over her process in communicating design ideas with a focus on research and accuracy. She is incredibly interested in theatrical illusions and stage magic within scenography and delights in historical fashion research when designing costume.
