Elizabeth Wright

Liz has been a freelance designer since 2002, working mainly in regional and touring theatre. Her favourite projects have included The Glass Menagerie and Elektra, both for Theatre by the Lake.

She has a PhD on the history of theatre design practice/education and, alongside designing, works for the British Library recording life story interviews with designers and other creative practitioners for its oral history collections.

She joined SBTD because as a teenager she was starstruck by the amazing work of designers in the Make SPACE! and Time + Space SBTD exhibition catalogues and wanted to be part of this talented and inspiring association!
