Assistance Experience

I have assisted Alex Marker at Questors’ Theatre multiple times in various productions. I do however have skills that designers usually seek for an assistant. The things I am most confident about are model making, sketching and drafting, SketchUp costume renderings/ sketches, pattern making, machine and hand sewing, Adobe Illustrator. I am learning and developing my knowledge further in Rhino 3D (CAD) and Photoshop. I have also done a lot of construction and making and have Scenic painting skills, some basic knowledge of carpentry, puppet making and costume construction. I am improving my knowledge in sourcing materials, costumes and prop houses.

On my course we had to realise our designs and can follow through from the beginning stages of design with moodboards and sketches, to model box  and drafts, to the realisation on stage. I have also worked in a range of shows from end-on to immersive.
