Where:
Via Zoom

We have a really exciting event to kick off the new year at the beginning of next week – Monday the 10th at the usual time of 5-6:30pm.We are lucky to be joined by Gwyn Stacey from the Centre for Alternative Technology. Gwyn is an architect and designer and teaches on the sustainable architecture programme at CAT and has worked for the sustainability team at BuroHappold (which are the engineering company involved with the Theatre Green Book). He also has a strong interest in theatre design and we will discuss with him the opportunities for implementing sustainable practice into theatre design work in new and creative ways (More info about Gwyn’s work can be found here: https://cat.org.uk/people/gwyn-stacey/).

This will be a great opportunity to have a cross-disciplinary discussion about sustainable design and learn about some new techniques, crafts, innovations, approaches to sustainability and education initiatives.

If you have not been along to our Sustainable Scene Studio events before, this would be a great one to join for, whether you are completely new to sustainable practices and want to find out more or are a seasoned expert in green theatre. No prior knowledge required.

Open to Members and Non-members, just drop us a line to get the Zoom link; sustainability@theatredesign.org.uk
