Courses run subject to minimum number of students.
This course has been developed for those people wishing to learn new skills or reposition their talents with regards to pursuing their professional development as designer-makers. The programme places an emphasis on practical creativity and an appreciation of Prop Making in a design context. The students& work is project based and evaluated by continuous assessment. Upon successful completion of the course the student will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
A progressive series of projects exploring a wide range of materials is supported by theory and demonstrations. Students are encouraged to visit museums and galleries in support of their research activities. Topics included in the Prop Making & Technology programme are:
