Course Descriptions:
In the first year of study skills are progressively developed which are transferable across all three specialist options of Set, Costume, and Props Design and Making. In the second year a combination of two specialist options are followed.
This multi-skilled approach increases career potential and versatility as an individual, the ability to work in a team is often encouraged by group assignments, work placements and the opportunity to appreciate and understand the considerations
of all the contributors within a production team. In the final Year, one specialist option is studied in depth. Additionally, you'll be encouraged to develop yourself both personally and professionally. Supporting the programme, there is a
programme of visits by practising specialists as well as participation in industrial and educational visits. There may he opportunities to spend time working with a diversity of companies, which provides invaluable industrial experience and
will introduce you to the realities of working to the demands of a commercial world.
