Edinburgh College of Art
The course at ECA is a glitterball of ideas and experiments, encouraging students to be innovative, individual, adaptable designers and makers, whilst being well versed in the demands of costuming for film, television, theatre and other performance arts. There is a strong emphasis throughout on the value of research and design development, including an experimental approach to textiles and pattern cutting. Our strong links with film, T.V and stage companies enable our students to participate in a wide range of work experience throughout their study. The combination of costume design, costume making and set design sets us apart from many other design courses in the UK. The high standard and employment success of our graduates also marks us out.

The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art
