Biography

I originally trained in architecture at Canterbury College of Art and have, at various points in my career, worked for architects.

In 1987-88 I went to Kingston Polytechnic to study Design for Film and Television, and to gain some experience in set design I started designing for the Tower Theatre in Islington.

In 1990 I spent a year working for BBC Wales in Cardiff as a design assistant on their soap opera "Pobol y Cwm" and then moved back to London where I worked on various short films and fringe theatre productions, "Nuts" at the Duke of Cambridge, and "Skaville" which went to the Edinburgh fringe in 1993.

In 1995 I had my first child and decided while my children were young that I would stick to designing for the Tower Theatre. I have now designed over twenty shows for the Tower, both at their old home in Islington and at other venues, and now feel it is time to move back into professional work.
