2019 Graduate from LIPA Liverpool BA Hons Theatre & Performance Design with a focus on video design and a love of light, previously a proffessional photographer who in 2016 was drawn to study in more depth light and all it’s qualities.
Winner of the graduate ALD I-Blue award for Excellence in Video Design 2019, a great moment for me with my work viewed and awarded by my piers in the industry. Driven to find and create the right imagery and delve into the minds of the director and designers I collaborate with to create another layer of narrative to a work.
Earthquakes in London
Earthquakes in London was a heavy video content piece, working with two projectors to both give narrative and another layer of subtle movement and disturbance across the set. Blending rear and front projection combining moving masks to constantly morph.
“I have just finished working with Tracey on Earthquakes in London at LAMDA. It was my first time working with video content in theatre performance and Tracey was wonderful at supporting the ideas I had whilst also developing them with her knowledge and expertise of how we could actual realise these in production. She embraced the vision for the show and all her work enhanced the aesthetic life of the play. Her approach was also to ensure that the AV content supported the narrative and world of the production so that it never felt like it was incongruous or an unnecessary add on. She sourced and created unique video content which became an integral component of the show, adding a whole new level of texture to this epic. Tracey is super supportive and open – a wonderful member of the team! “
