Biography
Steph trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2004.
Theatre at BOV: Peter Barnes' "Red Noses", costumes for Shakespeare and Fletcher's "The Two Noble Kinsmen", Stephen Dinsdale's "Anorak of Fire" at Bristol Old Vic.
In 2005 Steph was the trainee designer at Theatre by the Lake in Keswick. Shows include the summer season's productions for the studio: April de Angelis' "Playhouse Creatures" and Caryl Churchill's "A Number", Terry Johnson's "Dead Funny", Patrick Marber's "Closer" and "Stories for Christmas". Current work includes Patrick Marber's version of "After Miss Julie".
Other design work includes: "Love and Understanding" at the Capitol Theatre in association with the Library Theatre, Manchester. Simon William's "Nobody's Perfect" and Richard Harris's "Stepping Out" at the Little Theatre, Leicester.
Future work includes Arthur Miller's "The Price", Michael Cooney's "Cash on Delivery" and Mary Jones' "Butterflies are Free".
Design assisting work: Martin Johns, "Cinderella" in 2004, Ultz at the Royal Court Theatre, London, 2004 and Ralph Koltai on a visual arts project at the Hong Kong Youth Arts Festival in 1999.
It was Steph's interest in sculpture and installation that led her to theatre design.
