Biography
Stephanie Hakin is a Motley trained set & costume designer with 10 years film & theatre experience. She has returned to design following a career break during which she had a family. Her design training at Motley under Margaret Harris gave her valuable insights into how to utilize the text in her work and explore alternative design solutions. She is also an English Literature graduate.
Stephanie has experience of both set and costume design in film and theatre, storyboarding, model making, technical drawing, dyeing, scenic painting, lighting, mask making, theatre in education, new writing, touring shows, musicals, budget management, assisting, and running design workshops. Stephanie Hakin è una scenografa e costumista professionista, con esperienza maturata nel corso di un decennio, nel settore cinema e teatro. Dopo la laurea in Letteratura inglese all’Università di Newcastle, ha compiuto un tirocinio di specializzazione al Motley Theatre Design sotto la guida di Margaret Harris.
Stephanie ha maturato esperienza nel campo del disegno in scenografia e costume per il cinema e il teatro, compreso il storyboarding, disegno tecnico, tinture, disegnatore di scena, luci, creazione di maschere; progetti educativi di teatro, scritture; spettacoli itineranti, musical, management finanziario.
