The Society of British Theatre Designers

The development of the design happened concurrently with the writing of the script, the making of the video for the performance and the initial rehearsal period with the actors. Scenes were made by suggesting an edge to an implied space or by using video to represent a place naturalistically. The elements of the set became the other members of the cast and the real journey of the narrative is mirrored by the dance that the set plays around the characters; in the moving screens, the sliding panel, the television set, and the iron bed.
