Petra is a Theatre & Performance designer working collaboratively across genres, languages and geographical borders. Theatre (classic/devised/physical & new writing), film (long & short), dance & opera as well as photography, styling & interior design.

Her theatrical work began in Ireland. From there she went on to train as a Designer in UK, remaining there for a decade. 2016 saw a relocation back to her native Sweden.

With a degree from Wimbledon College of Art (UAL, London) she has been fortunate to receive recognition and nominations for her design work and was beyond delighted to be a finalist at the World Stage Design in Cardiff (2013) with her designs for the Irish physical performance piece Body Electric. She recently premiered the Scandinavian premier of Marc St Germain’s Danslektionen in Skellefteå, with Västerbottensteatern.

Beyond Danslektionen & commercial shoots for Halland Opera & Vocal Festival her most recent theatre credits includes Borderline (nominated for Grassroots Champion at Community Integration Awards) & Diary Of A Hounslow Girl (nominated for BEST STAGE PRODUCTION, Asian Media Awards), both still on the road in UK & beyond.

Other theatre credits includes Creditors (Young Vic Theatre, London), Juicy & Delicious (Nuffield Theatre, Southampton) as well as the two Off West End Award BEST SET DESIGN nominated shows Free Fall (The Pleasance Theatre, London) & Occupied (Theatre503, London).
Feature film credits include: Magpie, Way of the Monkey’s Claw, The 95th & PubMonkey. Short films includes Blind Man's Dream, Termination & Care.
