Biography
Trained at Wimbledon School of Art - three year course (National Diploma in Theatre Design) and a post-diploma course in Theatre Design at the Slade School of Fine Art under Nicholas Giorgiadis.
I have worked at many theatres throughout the UK and also in Germany at the English Theatre of Hamburg.
I have designed sets for productions in various modes including proscenium arch, open stage, thrust stage and in-the-round.
In addition to the designing, I have usually constructed, painted and dressed the sets myself, and I have worked on almost everything from Shakespeare to Pantomime, my particular interests being Opera and the musical theatre.
I have designed for Main House, Studio and Touring productions in both the subsidised Repertory and Commercial sectors.
