Biography

Nina was a finalist in the 2011 Linbury Prize, where she worked on the "Roy Orbison in Clingfim - the Opera" commission from Royal Opera House 2.

Nina recently designed “Endz” for the Liverpool Everyman and assisted Barney George on “Mapping the City”, Slung Low’s latest promenade piece for Hull Truck Theatre.

Since graduation from LIPA in 2010 has designed two pieces in “Anthology” by Slung Low, and assisted Ashley Shairp on “Tis Pity She’s a Whore”, as well making props and for the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, the Liverpool Lantern Company, 20 Stories High and the Bluecoat art gallery. Nina painted on many shows at LIPA and as well as at Liverpool Scenic Workshop, the Liverpool Playhouse an Liverpool Royal Court.

In her final year at LIPA she designed Les Liaisons Dangereueses at the Unity theatre and devised and directed “Shadow Snatcher”, a puppet show at the Kazimier. Subsequently she has made masks and puppets for 20 Stories High, Hope St Ltd and Liverpool Puppet Pool.
