Biography
Myriddin Wannell (Mydd) is a theatre designer & visual artist currently based in Cornwall. Recent productions include "The Wild Bride' KNEEHIGH, ‘THE PASSION’ WILDWORKS, ‘The Enchanted Palace’ Kensington Palace, WILDWORKS, ‘The Memory Projector’ WILDWORKS, ‘The Beautiful Journey’ WILDWORKS, ‘Mask of The Red Death’ Punchdrunk, ‘Souterrain’ WILDWORKS, ‘A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings’ WILDWORKS.

Mydd was born on the road and travelled most of his childhood. In his late teens he detached from his Romany roots and threw down some new ones in London for a while, where he studied a BA Hons in Theatre Design at Wimbledon School of Art. After graduating a new wind blew him to Cornwall to study a second degree in Fine Art at Falmouth College of Art. CUC
Enjoying site-specific collaborations Mydd has also worked extensively as a community artist, Internationally with a wide spectrum of people In the UK, France, Germany, Romania, Australia & Africa, with Forthcoming projects in Kosovo & Palestine.
In 2008 Mydd had work exhibited as part of the ‘Collaborators: UK Design for Performance 2003 – 2007’ Exhibition, V&A Museum, London.
Mydd is also Design Consultant at The Eden Project, Cornwall.
