Based in Luton, Lauren is a Set and Costume Designer for performance.
She trained in Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University and has designed for small scale touring shows, site specific, immersive, carnival, festivals, installation, and plays including new writing for youth companies.

Lauren works both as a Theatre Designer in her own right and has worked as an assistant designer on a number of theatre productions.
In 2015 Lauren was awarded Nottingham Theatre Royal's Costume Design Prize for the 150th Anniversary of the theatre's opening, leading to the realisation of 3 of her costume designs.
In 2017 her Carnival King Costume won First Runner Up at EMCANN Carnival Clash and a Design Award.

In 2016 she was awarded the Birmingham Opera Prize for her design of the Opera ‘Dido and Aeneas’. This won her the opportunity to work on Birmingham Opera Company’s 2018 world premiere of ‘Wake’ as the Assistant Designer to Richard Hudson.

Lauren has also previously assisted designers Stuart Nunn and Nicky Shaw in Opera productions as well as Samuel Wyer, Hannah Sibai and Hannah Wolfe in theatre and musical productions.
