A freelance set and costume designer for theatre and alumnus of Nottingham Trent University’s Theatre Design course, where I was the recipient of the Birmingham Opera Prize and Nottingham Theatre Royal's Costume Design Prize.

I have both designed and assistant designed work on a number of productions since I began freelancing, working on: Plays, Opera, Carnival, Touring shows, Site specific, Youth theatre, Musicals and Installation.

I have collaborated with theatre companies, fellow freelancers and a range of production staff. This collaboration is pivotal in my work ethic to fulfil a performance’s needs; teamwork is a vital aspect of creating for theatre and I greatly value the chance to work both independently and together with other production team members.
These roles present opportunities of leadership, decision making, and practical experience whilst demonstrating excellent communication skills and technical ability.

As an ambitious individual, I hope to find opportunities to advance and pursue my skills. My sociability and confidence around different colleagues ensures I am trustworthy and reliable.

I enjoy using inventive approaches to my designs and narratives, ensuring a self-motivated and open-minded attitude to tasks. I enjoy creating moments of surprise, bringing the unexpected to audiences and finding unique, visually impressive ways to achieve this.
