Biography
Juliet Shillingford studied Fine Art specialising in Sculpture at Ravensbourne College of Art and Theatre Design at Croydon College after which she was awarded an Arts Council bursary.
Recent Designs for theatre include Translations, Molly Sweeney, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, The Long Road and The Pillowman at Curve Theatre , Leicester. Dolly and Faith Healer for New Perspectives. The House of Bernarda Alba, Betrayal and Peeler for Nuffield Theatre, Southampton.
Exhibitions include:
PQ07 – Prague Quadrennial 11th International Exhibition of Scenography and Theatre architecture, Juliet’s design for School for Wives formed part of the British exhibit.
Collabourators: UK Design for Performance 2003-2007 – V & A Museum, London 2007-8 and Nottingham Trent University 2007.
2D – 3D Design for Theatre and Performance – Millenium Galleries, Sheffield 2002.
