Biography

Juliet Shillingford studied Fine Art specialising in Sculpture at Ravensbourne College of Art and Theatre Design at Croydon College after which she was awarded an Arts Council bursary.

Translations, Molly Sweeney, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, The Long Road, The Pillowman, Absurd Person Singular and The Beauty Queen of Leenane.
For New Perspectives, East Midlands touring:
The Honey Man, Entertaining Angels and The Lovesong of Alfred J Hitchcock.
For Nuffield Southampton:
The House of Bernarda Alba, Betrayal, Peeler, Alchemy in the UK and God of Carnage.
For Mercury Theatre, Colchester:
The Hired Man, Macbeth, Animal Farm, Educating Rita, Cinderella and Aladdin.
National Touring:
Kindertransport, The Butterfly Lion.

Education and workshop projects include:
Theatre and Performance Galleries at the V & A, Donmar Warehouse and Rose Bruford College.

Exhibitions include:
PQ07 – Prague Quadrennial 11th International Exhibition of Scenography and Theatre architecture, Juliet’s design for School for Wives formed part of the British exhibit.
