"The Carrier Frequency" was a revival by Stan's Cafe Theatre Company of the 1980's collaboration between Impact Theatre Co-operative and Russell Hoban. It was revived as part of Birmingham's 80's Festival. We worked from a video of the original piece in rehearsal, a few production photographs and scraps of text. It was a case of trying to recreate the essence of Simon Vincenzi's original design without going through a design process myself, with a very small budget, two weeks and the ever-present possibility of a leak!
