Graduate of Loughborough University (2009) with a First Class BA (Hons.) Drama.

After graduating, James spent three years in residence for the Little Theatre Leicester, designing and implementing sets for a selection of their season of plays and annual pantomime, as well as for guest musical theatre companies. Shows included: ‘Sweet Charity’, ‘Carrie’s War’, ‘Dick Whittington’, ‘Anything Goes’, ‘Cause Celebre’, ‘Spider’s Web’, ‘Oklahoma’, ‘The Witches’, ‘Our Town’, ‘A View From The Bridge’, ‘Aladdin’

Following a move to East London, James now works predominantly in an education setting, and tutors a technical youth theatre.

Recent design work includes: ‘The Edelweiss Pirates’, ‘Paper Planes’, ‘Pronoun’, and ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ all for the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, ‘The Crucible’ for Fine line Theatre, and venue design for the ‘PIE Eyed Performance Festival’ Romford
