Biography
Since graduating from Rose Bruford College Emma has worked with a vast range of performance styles including carnival, opera, ballet, community theatre and outdoor theatre projects. She has designed and made costumes, set and props for productions around the world.
Emma is currently the Model Maker for London 2012 Olympics. She is working with the the design teams on all four Ceremonies.
Credits as designer include, 'The Cunning Little Vixen' (Woodhouse Sounds Opera, Surrey); 'Patio/Porch' (The Raven Theatre Company, Above The Stag, Victoria); 'Homestead' (Costume Design, Shady Dolls Theatre Company, Theatre Museum, Covent Garden); 'African Gothic' (Old Fitzroy Theatre, Sydney); 'Blasted' and 'Skylight' (New Theatre, Sydney).
As design assistant to Peter Farmer, 'Swan Lake' (Beijing National Ballet).
Model Room Assistant, Royal Opera House 2004-06.
Emma has designed extensively for children's theatre including 'The Wizard of Oz', 'Crazy For You' and 'Honk!' for Wycombe Swan Youth Theatre; 'Pinnochio' and 'Dimension High' (Bigfoot Arts Education); 'Colour The World' (Shed@thePark); 'Zak & Zara's Space Adventure' (Perform).
She has made prop/costumes for Rainbow Productions; 'The Lion King' (Capitol Theatre, Sydney); 'The Three Musketeers' (Jim Henson's Creature Workshop) and the Manchester Commonwealth Games.
