A version of The Tempest for 8 to 11 year olds with a cast of 4, with puppets, masks, physical theatre and integrated sign language. Miranda and Ferdinand are discovered playing chess. Gold picture frames from Prospero's trunk form a motif, framing a shadow play, introducing masks, and here creating a moment of stillness in a turbulent production.
