Biography

Bex is a London based designer who trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. She primarily works in text-based theatre, new writing and classics. Bex creates work that takes risks and challenges an audience, both in terms of content and relationship to space. She works in traditional and non-traditional spaces. Bex also works as a Costume Supervisor, most recently at the Royal Court.

A story exploring our responsibility to seek the truth in a post-truth era. Cleopatra’s death by asp is a common myth, largely scientifically disproven. Set in a broadcast recording centre, Anguis is an imagined conversation between the great pharaoh Cleopatra and a contemporary immunologist.
