Nicky trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama, where she designed the set for "The Balcony" in their Embassy Theatre.

Recent work includes: assisting with costume on Dreamthinkspeak's site specific productions of "Underground" (Theatre Royal Brighton and as part of the BITE/Young Vic Young Genius programme), designing set and costumes for a UK tour of "Wuthering Heights" and "Twelfth Night" with Love & Madness Ensemble (including The Riverside Studios), and "Swingers" (Shortcuts Festival, Arcola Theatre).

Forthcoming work includes desgning set and costumes for FLIP Production's "Love Me, Dorothy" at The Greenwich Playhouse.
