Isabella Bywater trained at the Motley School of Design.

Her opera credits include: "Cavalleria Rusticana" and "I Pagliacci" produced by Knut Hendriksen (Stockholm Opera House); "Ezio" produced by Stephen Medcalf (Théâtre des Champs Elysées); "L'Elisir d'Amore" produced by Stephen Medcalf (English Touring Opera, Western Australian Opera, Victoria State Opera and Opera Queensland); "L'incontro Improviso" produced by Stephen Medcalf (Garsington Festival Opera); "La Traviata" produced by Stephen Medcalf and "Fidelio" produced by Matthew Francis (Opera Northern Ireland); "The Marriage of Figaro" produced by Stephen Medcalf (English Touring Opera); "The Masked Ball" produced by Karen Stone (Opéra de Monte Carlo); and "Nabucco", "I Puritani" (Munich), "Ermione" (Sante Fe Opera) and "Don Pasquale" (Florence), all produced by Jonathan Miller.

Her theatre credits include: The award winning "Titus Andronicus" directed by Deborah Warner (Royal Shakespeare Company); "Of Mice and Men" directed by Dominic Cooke (Nottingham Playhouse); "Twelfth Night" (Salisbury Playhouse and The Royal Lyceum Theatre; Edinburgh), "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Salisbury Playhouse) "The Tempest" (Salisbury Playhouse) all directed by Deborah Paige; "All My Sons" and "A Doll's House" directed by David Massarella (Salisbury Playhouse); "School for Wives" directed by Lucy Bailey (Chichester Festival Theatre).
