I graduated in 2004 with a 2:1 in theatre design from Nottingham Trent University. After fleeing the country, albeit briefly, after I graduated I came back to the North West to begin my career in the theatrical industry, and have been working ever since.

My work has been mightily varied, and has included set and costume design for tourinig theatre and TIE, scenic painting for pantomimes, sculpture and installation art all in addition to delivering Art and Theatre based workshops to all ages. Despite juggling all of this, I have even gone back to college, where one night a week I progress rapidly in the world of 2D AutoCAD.

As a theatre designer and artist, I am particularly interested in the role and experience of the audience in performance as well as the influence of young people on and for theatre today. Moreover, whilst I am still young I intend to develop theatre for and with young people, as well as, of course, progress up the slippery ladder of Design for various types of theatre.

I hold a full driving license and even have my own car, so am able to frequently travel the length and breadth of the country, and indeed, do so. I am currently a member of Equity.
