Since graduating in 1989 from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Dawn has worked both as a Resident Designer and Freelance Designer.

Recent theatre credits include: "Road" for Pilot Theatre, York and the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith. "Frankie and Tommy", "Pinocchio", "The Rivals" and "The Blue Room" for Worcester Swan Theatre, "Only a Matter of Time" for the Watermill Theatre, Newbury. "A Passionate Woman", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" "The Blue Room", "The Three Musketeers", "Closer" for the Theatre Royal, York, "Second From Last in the Sack Race", "All of You Mine" and "Misconceptions" for the Octagon Theatre, Bolton. "Of Mice and Men" for the Octagon and Theatre Royal York.

As resident designer for the Worcester Swan Theatre, 1994-2001 credits include: "The Elephant Man", "The Importance of Being Earnest", "And a Nightingale Sang", "Once a Catholic", "I Have Been Here Before" and many more.

Future projects include "Abandonment" for the Theatre Royal, York and "The Steamie" for the Coliseum Theatre, Oldham.
