Having been a society member on and off over many years, I joined the committee in 2018 and became a Trustee/Director in 2020.
Being a Judge for the 2017 Linbury Prize reinforced my interest in mentoring and championing younger designers, in addition I met met Sean Crowley and Fiona Watts. I was enormously impressed by Fiona’s energy and ambition for the future of the SBTD and offered to be involved. I subsequently began one-to-one mentoring, in-between opera projects in Europe.
I am delighted to be part of the Mentoring Group.
