Katie Scott

I am a Set & Costume Designer based in the North West. I’ve been in the industry since 2012.

I was asked to join the SBTD committee having represented the society at the meetings of the Alliance of Associations & Professionals in Theatre & Live Events (AAPTLE) during the pandemic. Having the opportunity to voice my concerns made me realise just how passionately I want to advocate for regional practitioners. I really look forward to working with the Regional Hearts programme with a particular focus on the North West; sharing the brilliant resources from SBTD, forming a sustainable, hyperlocal connection between our members and their local theatres, along with connecting and collaborating with all of our hearts across the country! I’m also a part of a team facilitating conversations and education around CAD and digital design, offering tutorials and advice from experts for our members.
