Is it a field or is it a study? Neither indoors nor out, surrounded by books and specimens, we learn, we invent, we play at being explorers and adventurers.
I wanted to capture the spirit of 'let's pretend' - we are squirrels crossing
a lake, our socks for tails, or flying like a duck, standing on the top of library steps.
