"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?#34; design by Sakina Karimjee

"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" by By Edward Albee
Theatre by the Lake, Keswick, Studio Theatre/2007
Directed by Stefan Escreet - Lighting design by Pete Bull
SET AND COSTUMES DESIGNED BY SAKINA KARIMJEE

Set on the campus of a New England College in 1962, the action takes place in the home of George and Martha during one long blistering and brutal evening. I wanted the design to show them trapped in their stuffy, faded academic mess surrounded by paper work, books and dirty gin glasses.
