Act I "Fun and games"

The design for "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf!" is centred upon an arrangement of hard, angular furniture on a "boxing ring" square of carpet. This is framed by oppressive red walls. The resolution at the end of the play is expressed by the cold dawn light revealing the forest behind.
