SET AND COSTUMES DESIGNED BY MARTIN THOMAS

Act 1 scene 3 - The poker game.

The set was naturalistic and I decided on a brightly vibrant atmosphere to highlight the cultural diversity. Bold lighting was used to create the highly charged emotions. The walls made from fabric so that light could be shone through to abstract scenes of insanity played out by Blanche as street people wander through the house destroying her privacy, making her world very upsetting.
