Act 2 - Elaine is lost.
The play evolves around an elderly lady ("Elaine" played by Susannah York) suffering from dementia, and the production pulls the audience into the fearful world of mental confusion. The set was designed to allow the audience to experience Elaine's constant battle with her own perception of time and space.
