"Is It Me?" based on texts by Sarah Kane - Central St Martins College/2002

DESIGNED & DIRECTED BY MARTINA VON HOLN

The piece explores the narrative of a woman who disappeared. The rhythm is determined by her switching between sections in which messages on her answering machine can be heard and sections in which the two actresses, who represent the split and slowly fragmenting personality of the disappeared, perform in a white neon-lit clinical space. Both are always bound to chairs or tables on wheels.
