"Hamlet" by William Shakespeare at Dallas Theatre Center, USA/2003
Director: Richard Hamburger/Costume designer: Ilona Somogyi/Lighting designer: Marcus Doshi
SET DESIGNER: KLARA ZIEGLEROVA
This version of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" was set in the teens of the 20th century. The set was a large, modernist environment, taking advantage of the
theatre space (theatre designed by Frank Loyd Wright) without any masking or decoration. An overhead bridge curves towards the audience and ends in a staircase
leading from above the audience upstage onto the stage.
